I need a portable
computer. Should I get a laptop, a netbook, or a
tablet?
A The answer is ultimately up to you,
but the pros and cons of each are:
Laptop - Most powerful, more options, bigger and
bulkier, generally have less battery life
Netbook - small and lightweight, good for web and basic
tasks, usually no optical drive, smaller screen
could be hard for people with bad vision
Tablet - touchscreen, lightweight, fewer software
options (at this time), expensive (at this time) |

I'd like to place an order. Will you take my credit
card over the phone?
A No. For your
security, and ours, we only accept payment via
PayPal or in person at our store. The benefits of
using PayPal for online purchases are:
■ Check out faster-no need to enter your payment and
shipping info
■ Shop with millions of merchants online without
exposing your financial details
■ Pay online with your PayPal balance, bank account,
or credit card |
Q
I need to have work
done on my computer/laptop, how long will it be in
the shop?
A The answer varies based on the work
you need done and how many computers are before
yours. For example, replacing a power supply or
adding memory takes much less time than a virus
clean (we run a series of scans until they all come
up clean) or disassembling a laptop to replace the
power jack. We do offer expedited service that
will move your computer to the front of the line,
but it does not guarantee same day completion. Talk
to the technician creating your service ticket to
get a better idea.
